Naomi Smith, CEO of Best for Britain and founder of tactical voting site GetVoting, has made this year’s Women in Westminster: the 100
Women in Westminster: the 100 celebrates the achievements and invaluable role women play in public life by recognising one hundred women who are leading the way in politics and public services. It includes parliamentarians, journalists, campaigners, civil servants, commentators and more.
The list, compiled by the House Magazine, aims to inspire the next generation of young women to get involved in public life, and this year includes a diverse line-up of women ranging from Reality TV star Georgia Harrison, who was at the centre of debates about revenge porn and online safety in 2023, to Baroness Hallet, Crossbench Peer and Chair of the UK Covid-19 inquiry as well as Sue Gray, Chief of Staff to Keir Starmer.
The announcement comes ahead of International Women’s Day on Friday. In including Naomi, the selection panel highlighted her work on trade policy through the UK Trade and Business Commission and campaign for electoral reform and tactical voting as a means of achieving it.
